Be Joyful

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law

And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts (Galatians 5 : 22-24)

Jeremiah is known as the “Weeping Prophet” for several reasons! He wept over the idolatry and false prophets! He prophesied about the downfall of many kingdoms, only to be persecuted

Nonetheless, Jeremiah continued to preach prophesy in the Lord's name!

His story exemplifies what it means to praise God in hard times, as eloquently written in the book Lamentations: "Because of the Lord's great love, we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail!

They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness! I say to myself, "The Lord is my portion; therefore I will wait for him (Lamentations 3:22-24)

Just like Jeremiah, may we never be afraid and persevere for the truth, even if it means the world will persecute us for our faith!

Prayer

Dear God, our lives are in Your wonderful hands! Thank you for Your gracious love, merciful kindness, compassionate favour and though life has challenges, the joy of the Holy Spirit reigns and lives in our hearts, our mouths are filled with laughter as we praise, love, sing and enjoy your Holy Spirit more and more each day in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth!

Make His Ways Known

That Your way may be known upon earth, Your saving power among all nations (Psalm 67:2)

You may know the song “The Blessing” and the lyrics ‘may His face shine upon you’, that line comes from Psalm 67

If we have God’s face shine upon us, that echo’s the idea of being deeply and intimately in a pure relationship with God!

He doesn’t need us to do anything, He can do everything. God chooses to love and work with us, because He wants a relationship with us!

God wants His face to shine on us. He has given us a mission of living out His ways on earth and showing His saving power unto the nations, just as Psalm 67:2 speaks of

Preach the word in and out of season. Make the most of every opportunity as the Bible instructs

Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage—with great patience and careful instruction

(2 Timothy 4:2)

Talk about the forgiveness of Christ unto every soul, listen for the Holy Spirit's wisdom and guidance and obey God not only in what He say's, but also when He speaks

We make His way known upon the earth by looking different, looking like Him, and seeing the opportunities He sends us to look different in our everyday lives

Pray that God blesses His Beloved People, so that we have the opportunities for speaking the gospel message of the good news of God's mercy love and grace!

We make His saving power known among the nations by being godly examples of the transforming power of God's grace in our lives, and living out that grace and freedom!

Prayer:

Lord, I thank You for wanting and choosing us, and for Your patience and grace when we fail to make You known. I pray we would continue to seek You and let your love pour out of us as a testimony of Your ways to those around us in the mighty name of our Lord Saviour Jesus Christ of Nazareth!

BE BORN AGAIN

Every child of God is born of the word; meaning, we are children of the word!

The Bible says, “Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever (1 Peter 1:23)

So, you are the word in flesh! This is what Paul the Apostle meant by us being “living epistles!” In 2 Corinthians 3:3 you are an epistle of Christ, ministered by us, written not with ink but by the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of flesh, that is, of the heart!

If anyone wants to look at the word of God, they should look at you, for you are the epistle of Christ! The Church is, the word in flesh

Our Lord Jesus was the word of God tabernacled in human hearts

He was the epistle of God! He was God's love letter sent unto the world by God!

In the Bible (John 1:14) that the word became flesh and dwelt among us!

The same word that became flesh gave birth to us, “Of his own will begat He us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of His creatures (James 1:18)

God's beloved are the offspring of the word!

We were born in the realm of the spirit to be like Jesus through the word!

The world does not understand spiritual truths with a worldly mind! The truth becomes real when you become born again from the Holy Spirit!

Your life is the life of the word! You are not an ordinary person! You may look like everyone else, but you are different!

You are God’s message, His word! Therefore, never look down on yourself

Born again not of the corruptible seed of man, but of God’s incorruptible seed!

The word of God, is life; it's the life of the word! The Bible (1 John 4:4) says, “Ye are of God,” meaning you are born of God; you hail from Him; and God and His word are one!

Prayer; Dear Father, our God, thank you so very much, that the word of God infused in our hearts, one with our spirits, is what makes the supernatural life possible! Please give yours the desire, hunger and determination in reading, speaking, muttering praying and declaring and shouting the word of God, speaking scriptures, that are truth, so that the word grows in our hearts, minds and lives in the mighty name of our Lord Saviour Jesus Christ of Nazareth!

Take every thought captive

Casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5)

Paul the Apostle wrote that every time a negative thought comes to you, whether it’s fear, worry, or doubt, you can’t be passive or complacent

You have to bind thoughts, you have to bring those thoughts into captivity!

Each thought that goes against what God speaks is an intruder. That stinking thinking has no right to stay, your mind belongs unto the Lord!

You need to get your shackles out, lock those thoughts and rebuke them!

To take thoughts captive indicates forcefully and aggressively being on the offensive

Paul could have said, “Just don’t think about that. Don’t give that attention.” But God is showing how important it is that we be proactive, that if we’re going to have a sound mind, a healthy mind, it’s not going to happen automatically

The scripture say's to “give no place to the enemy.” Are there some intruders in your mind that you’re allowing to stay?

Are you giving place to negative, discouraging thoughts? It’s time to start locking up those thoughts. Refuse to dwell on them

Don't let negative thoughts occupy your mind!

Prayer:

Father, thank You for giving me the power that takes captive each thought that goes against what You have said in your word. Thank You that I can cast down the negative thoughts that come against me. I refuse to give the enemy any ground!

I bind him and evil, worldly, godless thoughts from my mind in the precious name of the Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth!

Marvelous Grace

But even before I was born, God chose me and called me by his marvelous grace. Then it pleased him to reveal his Son to me so that I would proclaim the Good News about Jesus to the Gentiles (Galatians 1:15)

The Bible book of Acts 9, Jesus appeared to Saul of Tarsus, who was the biggest enemy of the early church, having instigated a wave of persecution that scattered the believers.

On the way to Damascus with the intention to put believers in prison, Jesus appeared and spoke to him. That day was his turning point.

He became a follower of Christ, and his name became Paul the apostle!

He went from being the biggest threat to the biggest asset of the early church, writing nearly half the books in the New Testament.

He told the Galatians that God in His marvelous grace had chosen him before he was born to proclaim the good news to the Gentiles, which he never dreamed of doing

Paul said in the Bible, “I thought I was doing the right thing, but God stepped in and showed me what He preplanned for me.”

God will not allow you to miss what He has preplanned for you. Like Paul, you are chosen for a purpose. His marvelous grace is for you today. Keep being faithful, and you will see God's plans be fulfilled in your life

Prayer:

Father, thank You that You saw a chosen vessel in Saul when he was persecuting the church, and You’re going to use me as Your instrument as well. Thank You for Your marvelous grace that blesses what you have planned for me. I will be faithful unto Your gracious purposes in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth!

Set Free

Look!” he answered, “I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire; and they are not hurt, and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God (Daniel 3:25)

Three Hebrew teenagers had their hands and feet bound firmly with ropes and then were thrown into a fiery furnace for refusing to bow to King Nebuchadnezzar’s golden idol

This seemed like an impossible situation for survival. But in that furnace, the only thing that burned were the cords that held them bound. God was showing us that there’s no bondage the enemy puts on you that He can’t break.

There’s no addiction, no depression, no sickness that He can’t free you from. Yes, there will be opposition

The enemy will try to bind and restrict in any way he can. Sometimes the medical report is not good, or your child is off course, or the addiction seems permanent

Those cords are only temporary. Your time of release is coming

God wants us to see Him not just as a God who protects, but as a God who frees from oppression, who breaks bondages, who releases you from what has confined you

The same God who burned up the ropes that held the teenagers captive is about to burn up what’s restricting you

Prayer:

Father, thank You that whatever has restricted me in the past has lost it's grip because Your Son defeated the enemy on the cross and has brought me into freedom. Thank You that my hands are no longer tied. I believe that the fourth man has set me free. In the Lord Jesus Christ's name, amen

NO FEAR OF MEN

In God I will praise his word, in God I have put my trust; I will not fear what flesh can do unto me. Psalm (56:4)

Praising God, magnifies God! If God is magnified, then our trust in God increases! All others become lesser and insignificant!

The ruler of the Universe, the great I AM is no fool or slouch! He designed the world, and He knows what your purpose and calling is, in Jesus Christ!

The fear of man bringeth a snare: but whoso putteth his trust in the LORD shall be safe. (Proverbs 29:25)

Don't fear man, who does not last for eternity! Fear God, who is from everlasting unto everlasting!

Prayer: Abba Father, lead Yours in grace, mercy, favour and love of more intimacy with your Holy Spirits prescence, Omnipotent God, thank you that the spirit of fear is not ours, but our enemies, as yours have sound minds, love and power because of your grace in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth!

Psalms 27

The lord is my light and my salvation— so why should I be afraid? The lord is my fortress, protecting me from danger, so why should I tremble?

When evil people come to devour me, when my enemies and foes attack me, they will stumble and fall

Though a mighty army surrounds me, my heart will not be afraid, Even if I am attacked, I will remain confident.

The one thing I ask of the lord— the thing I seek most— is to live in the house of the lord all the days of my life, delighting in the lord’s perfections and meditating in his Temple

For he will conceal me there when troubles come; he will hide me in his sanctuary. He will place me out of reach on a high rock

Then I will hold my head high above my enemies who surround me. At his sanctuary I will offer sacrifices with shouts of joy, singing and praising the lord with music

Hear me as I pray, O lord. Be merciful and answer me!

My heart has heard you say, “Come and talk with me.” And my heart responds, “lord, I am coming.”

Do not turn your back on me. Do not reject your servant in anger. You have always been my helper. Don’t leave me now; don’t abandon me, O God of my salvation!

Even if my father and mother abandon me, the lord will hold me close

Teach me how to live, O lord. Lead me along the right path, for my enemies are waiting for me

Do not let me fall into their hands. For they accuse me of things I’ve never done; with every breath they threaten me with violence

Yet I am confident I will see the lord’s goodness while I am here in the land of the living

Wait patiently for the lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the lord!

BE MORE COURAGEOUS

Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee: turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest prosper withersoever thou goest (Joshua 1;7)

God spoke unto the people and said, be strong and very courageous!

Both are necessary for good success! In prior verses the Bible writes, that the people were to be courageous!

These attributes must increase! They do not function alone, wisdom (the application of knowledge) and prudence (discretion, doing subtly) are Godly attributes!

These with courage and strength, are like weapons in God's hands!

Grow in knowledge, read study the Bible, ask the Holy Spirit each time you read, so that he becomes master and teacher!

The Holy Spirit wants to enlighten our hearts! He is God on earth!

Become more courageous! Practice strength! Apply wisdom discretion, every moment, each activity keep a right heart, forgiveness and love, guard your mouth, speak no wrong, protect your mind, have pure hearts and God's word will prosper!

Prayer: Dear Father God, you are always on your throne, JESUS OF NAZARETH IS OUR HIGH PRIEST!

Allow our words, thoughts confessions, so that our acts, activities are produced from the word of God! Not from ourselves! Give yours balanced mind's, right hearts, pure motives and courageous spirits, being discreet and applying wisdom in every aspect of our lives, as yours gain more, and more knowledge through the word in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth!

YOU HAVE TO ROAR!

When the people heard the sound of the rams’ horns, they shouted as loud as they could. Suddenly, the walls of Jericho collapsed, and the Israelites charged straight into the town and captured Jericho (Joshua 6:20)

After the people of Israel had wandered in the wilderness for forty years, all that finally stood between them and the Promised Land was the city of Jericho with it's huge fortified walls of stone and mortar.

Nothing they had faced was as big a challenge! They couldn’t back down! They had to conquer it to get to their destiny

God instructed them to march around the walls in silence once a day for six days, with no complaining! Then on the seventh day, at the seventh time around, they were to let out a great shout of faith

This was a battle cry of victory, declaring God’s greatness, and without that shout that activated God’s power, the walls would not have come down

There may be a Jericho in your life that’s holding you back, something you’re believing to change

It’s important to pray, to believe, and obey, but what brings the walls down is a shout of praise, a shout of faith, when you declare the greatness of our God over every problem! “Suddenly” the impossible will turn in your favor!

Prayer:

Father, thank You that no obstacle is so high and wide that it can withstand Your touch. Thank You that to bring about Your promises in my life, You have called me that I may walk in faith and not by sight. I will give a shout of faith, believing that You are about to bring down walls in Jesus Christ's mighty name!

Don't make empty promises!

Like clouds and wind without rain is one who boasts of a gift never given (Proverbs 25:14)

One of my pet peeves has to do with broken promises. So often in life, we get caught up in our fast-paced daily lives that we sometimes don’t recognize the promises we make unto other people

The classics are, “if you need anything let me know, I will call you, or come visit you soon.” We need to be careful when making idle promises

Children and older adults are especially vulnerable to this. Children look up to adults and we teach them to listen to their parents, teachers, etc., so when we break a promise to a child it is hard for them to understand

If we aren’t careful our words become meaningless. The same goes for our elderly. Often alone, they depend on others a lot, and when someone makes a promise of running an errand or a much-promised visit that never materializes, then depression can easily set in

We need to be dependable and mindful of what we speak. The Bible is full of God’s promises that we can believe, rely and depend on because God's word is true!

They are rooted in His unchanging character and love for us. Remember when we are hurt by other people's broken promises and empty words, be assured that God’s Word will never fail us!

Dear Lord, I ask that You help us to be mindful of the promises we make unto You and others. Help us to keep our words just like Your promises in the Bible that never fail us in the Lord Jesus Christ's name!

BE BORN AGAIN FROM GOD'S WORD

Every child of God is born of the word; meaning, we are children of the word!

The Bible says, “Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever (1 Peter 1:23)

So, you are the word in flesh! This is what the Apostle Paul meant by us being “living epistles!” On (2 Corinthians 3:3), he said, " you are an epistle of Christ, ministered by us, written not with ink but by the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of flesh, that is, of the heart!

If anyone wants to see the word of God, they should look at you, for you are the epistle of Christ! The Church is, the word in flesh

Our Lord Jesus was the word of God tabernacled in human hearts

He was the epistle of God! He was God's love letter sent unto the world by God!

In the Bible (John 1:14) that the word became flesh and dwelt among us!

The same word that became flesh gave birth to us, “Of his own will begat He us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of His creatures (James 1:18)

God's beloved are the offspring of the word!

We were born in the realm of the spirit to be like Jesus through the word!

The world does not understand spiritual truths with a worldly mind!

The truth becomes real when you become born again from the Holy Spirit!

Your life is the life of the word! You are not an ordinary person! You may look like everyone else, but you are different!

You are God’s message, His word! Therefore, never look down on yourself

Born again not of the corruptible seed of man, but of God’s incorruptible seed!

The word of God, is life; it's the life of the word! The Bible (1 John 4:4) says, “Ye are of God,” meaning you are born of God; you hail from Him; and God and His word are one!

Prayer; Dear Father, our God, thank you so very much, that the word of God infused in our hearts, one with our spirits, is what makes the supernatural life possible! Please give yours the desire, hunger and determination in reading, speaking, muttering praying and declaring and shouting the word of God, speaking scriptures, that are truth, so that the word grows in our hearts, minds and lives in the mighty name of our Lord Saviour Jesus Christ of Nazareth!

The Abundant Place

You let people ride over our heads; we went through fire and through water; yet You have brought us to a spacious place (Psalm 66:12)

Prior to this verse, King David is proclaiming the amazing things the Lord has done, specifically about the deliverance and rescue out of slavery in Egypt

David also describes how the Lord has tested him and his people. But they remember the miraculous things in the midst of the tests and trials. They have been through both of these, and yet God has brought them to a spacious place

The original Hebrew for “spacious place” is revayah, meaning satisfaction or overflow. The Lord brought His people into a place of satisfaction, of overflow

They had all they needed and more, they were brought into a place of abundance, the Lord provided this for them!

Remembering the Lord, His presence, and the miracles He has performed helps us remember He has great things for us, things that will glorify His name

Prayer:

Lord, I pray for my brothers and sisters who are in the midst of a trial. I pray You would reveal to them the little ways that You are moving in their lives, even when it’s so hard to see. Thank you for writing a story for each of our lives, for us to look back on and remember Your goodness while we are temporarily in this world in the truthful name of our Lord Jesus of Nazareth!

The truth lives in us

If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He who is faithful and just will forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1John 1:8-9)

There's a saying, “the truth shall set you free”. But dwelling on the wrongs of the past, even though true, is like putting ourselves in bondage

It’s damaging. Back when my wife and I were still newlyweds, our arguments would drift and become irrational

Coupled with anger; faults of the past were dug up and old-healed-wounds scratched

To prevent escalation, I’d remain silent and act like I was immune to hurtful words

I would weather the storm and hope for a rainbow in the end. After the arguing subsided, the realization of the truth often sets in

We’ve confessed and forgiven one another’s shortcomings before the Lord!

Bringing back pieces of baggage from the past is just pointless. It took a while for us to overcome this unhealthy thinking. The first step was for both of us to admit neither was without sin or flaws

Let us not deceive ourselves with self righteousness and put the blame on others

Humbly confess your sins unto the Lord, repent, and welcome Jesus, the truth, so that Christ dwells in you

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, please remove all deception and self-righteousness in me. I confess all of my sins unto You and promise to repent. Thank you, for Your faithfulness and forgiveness. In Jesus’ powerful Name we pray Amen

God wants repentance

As Paul talked about righteousness, self-control and the judgment to come, Felix was afraid and said, That’s enough for now! You may leave. When I find it convenient, I will send for you (Acts 24:25)

Paul the Apostle was standing before the governor of Judea, a man named Felix, on trial for sharing his faith. Felix was very intrigued by Paul, and as Paul spoke about what it meant to be a believer and how to live a godly life, Felix felt convicted!

He knew he was not living with integrity, that he needed to stop compromising, but he didn’t want to deal with it. Even though he was frightened by the coming judgment, he sent Paul away, saying he would call Paul when he found it “convenient”

Two years later, Felix was out of office, and we never read anything more about him. We don’t know if a convenient time ever came or if he ever dealt with what God was bringing to light

Don’t put off what you know God is speaking to you about. On the other side of that obedience is a level of your destiny that you’ve never seen. No more waiting for a more convenient time. This is your time, so activate the power of God in your life by taking action

Prayer:

Father, thank You for the ways You speak in my heart! Father God I repent of my sins, please forgive my sins and open the windows of grace for me so that I can make changes in my life that need to be made. Help me make the right decisions and the right steps of faith that will take me higher. Do not worry

We all worry, we can’t seem to help ourselves. No matter how much we say we trust in God’s provision, their are always things that we tend to get anxious about

Whether they are big things like medical diagnoses, career changes, dangerous times or little everyday things like being late, finding time so that we study God’s word, there are plenty of things we could fret about

Do not worry, because worrying defies faith. God is telling us in this Bible verse not to worry about anything

He knows all that we are facing. His Son, Jesus Christ of Nazareth dealt with a lot of the same problems and emotions that we do, and He is there to comfort us.

Give all your worries unto our Loving Father and trust that God will help you deal with them. You’ll be amazed at the peace it will give you

Prayer:

Dear Lord, I know You don’t want me to worry, but sometimes I can’t help myself. Please help me to remember that You are love! Your desire is peace and joy, not worry and fear. Seek God Through Tests

O God, You are my God, I seek You, my soul thirsts for You; my flesh faints for You, as in a dry and weary land where there is no water (Psalm 63:1)

In Psalm 63, David was in the desert of Judah. Physically, he was surrounded by dry desert land

Spiritually, he recognizes that God provides the water he needs so that he would survive. David’s soul thirsts for God!

When we are presented with a trial, we can choose and lean on our own understanding and turn from God, or we can choose God, lean inGod, trusting that He knows what we need!

Maybe God doesn’t come through or provide in the way we think is best or makes the most sense to us.

He will always provide in the way that is most glorifying unto Him and will bring about the greatest amount of good.

It’s important to recognize that we may not see all or any of that good in our lifetime on earth

Similar to Abraham in Genesis, God promised him that he would be the father of nations, and all Abraham saw were his two sons

We see God’s faithfulness in what is now the nation of reborn children of God!That came from Abraham’s bloodline, which also gave way unto our Savior, who adopts us in the family of God

Prayer:

Lord, thank You for providing everything we will ever need. Thank You for being enough. I pray our hearts would learn and lean into You when we are in the midst of a trial. Help us so that we remember Your goodness each and everyday in the precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth!

We don't have to go through life doing everything on our own, trying to accomplish our dreams only in our own ability, trying to overcome challenges in our own strength, our own intellect, our own hard work!

We have an advantage! God has placed His anointing in us! The anointing is a divine empowerment! It enables us to do what we could not do on our own!

It will cause our dreams success, even though we don't have the talent! It will help us overcome obstacles that look impossible for us!

The scripture says, "... because of the anointing the yoke is destroyed (Isaiah 10:27)

A yoke is anything that is holding you back: Unfair situation, bad habits, people pushing you down!

In the natural world you may feel stuck but that's not the truth!

Thoughts will tell you, "Oh, just accept it! Just learn to live with it!" No, the anointing in your life can break every yoke!

The anointing is more powerful than any addiction! It's stronger than any person trying to push you down! It's greater than any injustice! In your own ability you may not be able!

In your own might you may not have the strength! What I want is that you see, that you are not on your own!

The Most High God has anointed you! He has put a power in you that cannot be defeated!

It can break every yoke! It can take you where you could not go on your own!

I heard someone say, "The anointing in us is like gasoline to a car!" You can have the most expensive car with a huge engine, beautiful exterior, fine on the inside, but if you don't put gasoline in it, it's not going to do much good!

In the same way, you have been made in the image of almighty God!

You are full of incredible potential! You have seeds of greatness!

The fuel you need so that you release your greatness, overcome obstacles, accomplish dreams, is the anointing on your life!

The anointing is only activated where there is God kind of faith!

Instead of complaining about how it's not going to work out, how you will never accomplish your dreams, turn that around, start declaring, "I am anointed! I am equipped! I am empowered! I am well able!"

When you have this attitude of faith, speaking words of victory, you are putting fuel in your car!

You are stirring up your anointing! That's when you will go places that you couldn't go on your own!

That's when you will see breakthroughs! Situations suddenly change in your favor!

Fresh Winds

Saul was going everywhere to destroy the church…But the believers who were scattered preached the Good News about Jesus wherever they went (Acts 8:3–4)

In the book of Acts, the Holy Spirit came like a rushing mighty wind and filled the disciples with power.

They went throughout Jerusalem praying for people, seeing the sick healed, the lame walk, and thousands become believers.

But then a great wave of persecution arose, and the disciples fled for their lives to Samaria and Judea and shared their faith. Had they not left Jerusalem, Christianity wouldn’t have spread.

They would have just kept it for the Jewish people. God had to push them out of their nest. They were satisfied in Jerusalem, but what God had in mind was much bigger.

Because of the opposition, the good news of salvation spread all over the world.

We often don’t know what God is up to. In real time, all we see is an adversity we didn’t choose—persecution pushed us out, a friend walked away, the contract didn’t go through, the medical report hasn’t improved.

God is saying, “I’m still ordering your steps. Trust My ways when you don’t understand. You’re about to feel the fresh wind of the Spirit rushing over you.”

Prayer:

Father, thank You that You know what’s best for me, and You keep pushing me out of my comfort zone and into my purpose. Thank You for closed doors as well as open doors. I believe that You have something bigger, something better, something more rewarding up in front of me in the Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth's glorious name! Amen

Listen to the Holy Spirit

When they had come opposite Mysia, they attempted to go into Bithynia, but the Spirit of Jesus did not allow them (Acts 16:7)

My Sunday school teacher used to tell the students, “when God blocks something, don't force.” I didn’t understand what he said, because I was still so young

It seemed mysterious, but thinking about that now, how many times did I not leave that alone?

I learned the hard way. God’s denials are not rejection but can be His protection!

The great missionary, Paul the Apostle was on fire for God and the gospel yet we read in this verse, there were places the Spirit of Jesus forbade them to preach for reasons unknown.

Paul and company obeyed. When God blocks something in our lives, do not resent it instead appreciate that God knows best!

Our human mind is only finite. God knows our past, present, and future. Maybe it’s not the time yet for us to receive or it’s really not for us.

Forcing the issue will only bring devastating results but learning to accept God’s will can save us a ton of grief, pain, and suffering

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, thank You for protecting us by blocking certain things, people, or events from entering into our lives. Lord, please help us to be patient and give us the wisdom so we see and understand Your majestic ways in the Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth's glorious name! Amen

Blessed are the poor in spirit

Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven (Matthew 5:3)

There are scriptures in the Holy Bible that upon reading them, jolts our brains so we think “What’s that again?”

Then we re-read the passages but still that seemingly does not make sense and sounds perplexing. This is one of those Bible scriptures, what does poor in spirit mean? Jesus clearly states that the riches of heaven belongs unto them and take note; not possessors of material wealth!

It means admitting we are nothing without God and we desperately need the Lord! Because oftentimes we are in awe of our own talents, skills, and resources and because of that we can neither see or appreciate God’s faithfulness and God's goodness!

We take the credit and fail in our realisation that without God we are empty, spiritually bankrupt! Has material blessings deprived you of seeking Him? Or have you forgotten where perfect gifts come from? (James 1:17)

Don’t allow earthly riches, so that they get in between You and God! Remember, the Lord gives and Lord takes away (Job 1:21) Therefore humble yourselves before Him and be renewed in His mercy, grace, compassions and love each and every single day!

Prayer;

Heavenly Father, we thank You for all the blessings that You have showered upon us. Help us so that we realize and are aware all the time that we are nothing without You, that we are empty and need Your love, goodness, mercy and grace each and everyday of our lives in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth!

Discover Your Greatness

And because we are his children, God has sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, prompting us to call out, “Abba, Father (Galatians 4:6)

It is so easy to forget who our heavenly Father is, to forget what He has done for us, and to limit what He wants to do in us. Too many of us think of Him like we think of our human parents who may not have been there for us, who made mistakes and may not have believed in us.

That is not your heavenly Father. Your gifts, your talents, your greatness don’t come from your family; they come from Him.

God breathed life into you, He put His spiritual DNA inside. That’s how you can do something no one in your family has done. That’s how you break out of a limited mindset and make a difference with your life

Because of who your heavenly Father is, you can defeat giants, accomplish great dreams, break addictions, and set new standards. Their's no limit in what you can achieve

There’s no obstacle you can’t overcome. There’s no financial struggle that can hold you back

Keep believing, keep dreaming, keep being your best. The greatness that God has put in you is about to come out

Father, thank You that You are not just good, but You are my great Father. Thank You for every good gift that You put in me and for how You are going to cause my greatness to come out. Don't be weary don't stop!

The scripture say's, "And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart (Galatians:9)

God knew one challenge we all would face is weariness! It's easy to get tired! Weariness means to lose your sense of pleasure, to not feel the enjoyment that you should!

You are doing the right thing, but not getting the right results! Sometimes because the battle is taking longer than you thought, you become weary

Let me encourage you so that your due season is on the way! Don’t let discouragement convince you to give up or settle where you are

Perhaps you may be dealing with battle fatigue?

Are you tired of fighting? You think you cant go on

But you don’t have to do it on your own! God say's, “Let him take hold of My strength!”

I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me (Philippians 4;13)

God's strength is yours, but you have to take hold of it! When thoughts tell you, “It's never going to change,” just say, “No, I know my time is coming! I have been armed with strength for this battle! I can do all things through Christ!"

Pray; Dear Father God! Our God that truly loves, cares and appreciates, His creation in the Lord Jesus!

As your people, our strength is renewed day unto day, as our lives are refreshed within, from the living waters of the Holy Spirit, in quiteness, in meditation in the word of God and in times of prayer in the wonderful name of our Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth!

God vindicates and rescues!

The LORD taketh my part with them that help me: therefore shall I see my desire upon them that hate me (Psalm 118:7)

Remember Paul and Silas; when they were in jail for spreading the good news, it wasn't fair!

They were beaten with rods without a trial; it was unjust, as they sat in the prison, bloodied, bruised, uncomfortable, they then began to sing praises to God (Acts 16:25)

If you are going to live in victory, you have to know how to praise in pain, praise when you are disappointed, praise when you are lonely!

We can all give God praise when on the mountaintop, that's easy, but our attitude should be, "I am going to give Him praise, even if I am in a valley! I am going to praise Him, when I feel like it and I am going to praise him even if I don't feel like it!" Thats the sacrifice of praise!

As they were sitting at midnight, singing praises unto God, all of a sudden there was a great earthquake, the prison doors flung open, the chains fell off, they walked out as free men!

What happened? They praised their way to victory!

When you get up in the morning and say, "God, I love you today, I praise you today! Thank you for another beautiful day!"

When you have these high praises coming out of your mouth, the scripture says almighty God will go to war against your enemies!

Prayer: Almighty Father, Omnipotent God! Our words are praises, giving God thanks, magnifying, glorifying and worshipping You always and forever as the One whom we serve in the mighty name of the Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth! Amen

Everything You Put Your Hand To

The LORD will send a blessing on your barns and on everything you put your hand to (Deuteronomy 28:8)

The blessing is an anointing on your life, which means God has marked you or set you apart

You are marked for favor!

That’s where people are good to you and don’t even know why, where doors open that weren’t supposed to open, where you get promoted when you weren’t the next in line!

You are marked for opportunity to come looking for you. You’re marked to excel in whatever environment you’re in whether people are for you or against you, whether the economy is up or down, whether you’re getting good breaks or doors have closed. The blessing is the reason you keep rising up when circumstances try to keep you down

The blessing doesn’t stop the adversity, but it causes you to triumph in the trouble. With His blessing, deep down you know that God being for you is more than what’s trying to stop you!

Now do your part and have this blessed mindset. Get in agreement with God. All through the day, keep telling yourself, “I am blessed. Whatever I put my hand to today, I’m expecting God’s favor!

Father, thank You for Your greatness and power and how Your hand has been upon my life in so many ways. Always Love Them

A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for a time of adversity (Proverbs 17:17)

In tough times when a family member or a friend messes up and really needs you, it’s easy to criticize them and stir up more of the negative

But they don’t need your judgment or harsh, critical word's, such as, “You should have known better. You deserve what you’re getting. Are you ever going to get it together?” No, they don’t need more guilt, more condemnation

They already know what they did was wrong. They have enough people finding fault and gossiping about them. They need someone who will show mercy, someone who will love them back into wholeness.

God is counting on you to be that person, to cover a mistake, to not hold their faults and shortcomings and what happened in the past against them. If you’re not there for them, if you don’t do it, who’s going to do it? Be a healer, be a restorer, be a lifter.

When you quiet the gossip and condemnation, when you show honor, even when honor is not due, you’re going to be blessed, you will be honored, you will see favor and increase!

Prayer:

Father, thank You for loving me at all times, for pouring out Your grace and forgiveness upon me and never giving up on me when I’ve failed. Thank You for the loved ones and friends You’ve given. Help me to be loyal unto them and be at my best when someone else is at their worst. In the Lord Jesus Christ's name!

Thinking through fear

And so also were James and John, sons of Zebedee, who were partners with Simon.Then Jesus said to Simon, “Do not be afraid; from now on you will be catching people (Luke 5:10)

We all have our fears. I can imagine that in this situation Peter had some fears of his own! He had just witnessed nothing short of a miracle and was asked to follow the person responsible for doing it. I know if I had been in a similar situation I probably would have frozen right there

Experiencing something like that would have left me speechless for a few hours at least! Peter and the others didn’t do that when Jesus called them; instead, they dropped everything and followed Him. Their are times when we need to step back and think things through. Their are also times when we just need to trust that God has something big around the corner for us and embrace it. The choice is yours, so which one are you going to pick today?

Prayer:

Jesus, I know You have great and wondrous things planned for me and those around me. Today I pray that when You call I will answer without hesitation and always trust You fully in the Lord Jesus Christ's name! Amen

SING UNTO THE LORD

The scripture says, "They will sing, "Give thanks to the LORD of Heaven's Armies, for the LORD is good! His faithful love endures forever (Jeremiah 33;11)

Jeremiah the prophet prophesied that God would bring back the people of Judah and Israel from their captivity from the Babylonian conquerors!

He was saying that when you thank God and offer up a sacrifice of praise even when you don't see anything good happening, God is going to reverse negative situations and restore what has been stolen!

When you don't see how it can work out, but you go through the day saying, "Father, thank You that the answer is on the way, thank You that the problem has turned around," get ready for God to bring blessings, favor and grace!

Our God is going to reverse finances that are low, reverse a bad health report, reverse a legal matter, He is going to restore what should have been yours!

God is going to restore years that could of been lost because of someone that did you wrong!

God is restoring a relationship that was on the rocks, restoring health in your body!

It's going to happen because of your praise. God will not disappoint a genuine praiser!

Prayer; Dear Almighty Father, thank You that our mouths are filled with praises, love songs and worship! Fill our hearts with Your love, because we appreciate You and love You! Our hearts are refreshed, filled with gratitude, we sing from our hearts with pure hearts, motives and desires in the precious name of Jesus Christ our Loving Lord and Saviour! Amen

OUR VICTORY OVER THE DEVIL

I will no more speak much with you, for the prince of the world comes, and he has nothing in me (John 14:30)

Satan and his demons were defeated at the cross two thousand years ago

He stripped dominions and authorities, and made them a public spectacle, triumphing over them by the cross (Colossians, 2:15)

But one thing that God's People must know is that if you walk in this victory then you must live in sanctification

Without sanctification, separation from sin, living continually in the presence of GOD, is hard, so stay sanctified and hold the victory of the cross

In our first verse, Jesus say's the prince of this world is coming but he has nothing in me, which means there is no sin in Him that can be an open door for the devil. The dirty devil does not find filthyness in Jesus

Jesus is not immune because of His divinity, but because of His perfect life and His life of obedience

Sanctification is a protective garment that covers born again believers! Those that have accepted the Lord Jesus's Christ in their hearts!

Paul, for example, asks that we walk in newness of life

We were therefore buried with him by baptism into death, that as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, so we also might walk in newness of life (Romans, 6:4)

To walk in victory over Satan, We must truly walk in newness of life, that means get rid of bad habits of the past, sanctify ourselves daily, seek the things above where Christ sits at the right of God; be focused on the things above and not on that which is on the earth

Satan is defeated on the cross but it is our lifestyle that allows us to walk in that victory

Stand firm in Christ in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth!

Prayer

Lord God, Abba Father the lover of our souls! Thank you that Jesus has won all our battles on the cross of calvary! Yours practice, hold and live in this victory each and every single day of our lives going forwards, proclaiming the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, rebuking demons, evil spirits, wickedness, evil angels in the precious name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth!

PROMOTION IS BIRTHED IN PROBLEMS

But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us (2 Corinthians 4:7)

I want to talk about promotion in the problem! None of us like problems, things that come against us!

It's easy to say, why is this happening to me? But God won't allow difficulty unless He has a purpose for it!

He may not have sent the trouble, but He knows how to use it to your advantage! On the other side of every problem is promotion!

The difficulty feels like a setback, but really its a set up for God to do something new!

When God wanted to promote David; take him out of the shepherd's fields, what did He do? God sent him a problem, Goliath was standing before David, a giant twice his size!

David could have thought, "God You said, that you are going to show me favor!

Why am I facing this giant?" David understood, with that problem came promotion!

On the other side of that difficulty was a new level of his destiny! God may have you to go through it, to get to it!

Some promotion only comes through adversity, closed doors and things that are not fair!

David went out and defeated Goliath, instantly his life changed!

New doors opened, he had respect, favor like he'd never had before!

Don't complain about the problem! Praise your God!

You can't reach your potential without problems! There is promotion in every problem, keep a good attitude!*

Prayer: Dear Omnipotent Father, our God! Pressed, stressed, tested, but not forsaken, rejected or abandoned!

Accepted, loved, cared for and provided as our character is moulded in to JESUS MORE AND MORE each day, over coming tests, trials, temptations and maintaining purity at all costs in the mighty name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, our Lord and saviour! Amen

To whom are you listening?

The arguments of the person who is influencing you do not come from the one who is calling you (Galatians 5:8)

In the Scripture, even though God said that Job was a “blameless and upright man,” almost overnight he suffered great personal losses

Things got so bad that his wife told him to just curse God and die. His friends, supposedly his comforters, said the tragedy was all his fault

Surely, they said, he sinned and was getting what he deserved. In times of difficulties, be careful who you listen to

Don’t give your ear to just anyone. Some people don’t have your best interests at heart!

They’ll judge and condemn you, try to straighten you out, tell you everything you’ve done wrong

You need to be around people who speak faith into you. You need people who tell you that you’re coming out, that healing is on the way, that God has beauty for the ashes

If the difficulty is your fault, you need people who tell you that God’s mercy is bigger than any mistake and that His arms are still wide open and His is compassionate

Tune out all the accusing, condemning voices and listen for those whose hearts are like the God who is calling you!

Prayer:

Father, thank You for the people in my life who inspire me, challenge me, and make me better. Help me to be wise about who I listen to and the counsel and opinions I receive. Help me to distance myself from anyone whose influence is condemning. I want to walk with the right people. In the Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth's name Amen

What’s Limiting You?

Zachariah said to the angel, “Do you expect me to believe this? I’m an old man and my wife is an old woman (Luke 1:18)

Zachariah and his wife, Elizabeth, had tried unsuccessfully for years to have a baby

Gabriel the angel showed up and told Zachariah that they would bear a son named John, Zachariah had fed upon the lies that they were too old for so long that he couldn’t believe it was possible

He did what we do so often. Rather than feed upon what God say's about us, we dwell on what we can’t do, how we’ve made too many mistakes, how we tried before and it didn’t work

We think that the giant is too big, the sickness, the addiction, the dream. God is saying that you’re still destined to do great things

You’re not limited by your background, your education, by how big the opposition is, by how old or how young you are

What limits us is what we’re feeding upon, our wrong thinking. Stop feeding the limited, the average, the “can’t do it” you, and start feeding upon what God say's about you

Start saying, “I can do all things through Christ. I am strong in the Lord. I am equipped, empowered, and anointed!

Prayer

Father, thank You for the promises You have spoken to my spirit. Thank You that I can speak words of faith that agree with Your promises and give them the right to be fulfilled in my life. I will stop feeding the doubts and feed upon what You say about me in Your Word in the Lord Jesus Christ's name we pray amen

Jars of clay

But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us (2 Corinthians 4:7)

Paul the Apostle reminds us that though we may feel like ordinary jars of clay with imperfections and cracks, inside our jar is the greatest treasure imaginable, “the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.”

You may seem ordinary, but the truth is you’re extraordinary. God loves to show Himself strong ththrough us!

He loves to put treasure in people who seem unlikely, at a disadvantage, ordinary. You may feel small, but the Most High God is on your side

When you look at what you’re up against, it can seem daunting—a sickness, a financial issue, struggling in your career. What you can’t see is that God has put in you the talent, confidence, and skills that will empower you to accomplish dreams that look impossible

You don’t know the treasure inside that’s going to wake up—the gifts, the calling, the ideas, and the potential that’s suddenly going to come alive

You’re going to feel a supernatural strength, a supernatural power, God breathing in your direction!

God's already preplanned your victory. You will discover the treasure that God has for you!

Prayer:

Father, thank You for the incredible treasure that You have put in me and the privilege of representing God as a jar of clay, even with my imperfections and weaknesses. I believe that You will show Yourself unto the world through the light of Jesus living inside of me in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth!

O God, listen to my complaint.

Protect my life from my enemies’ threats.

They shoot from ambush at the innocent, attacking suddenly and fearlessly

They encourage each other to do evil and plan how to set their traps in secret. “Who will ever notice?” they ask

As they plot their crimes they say, “We have devised the perfect plan!” Yes, the human heart and mind are cunning

But God himself will shoot them with his arrows, suddenly striking them down

Their own tongues will ruin them, and all who see them will shake their heads in scorn

Then everyone will be afraid; they will proclaim the mighty acts of God

and realize all the amazing things he does.

The godly will rejoice in the lord and find shelter in him.

And those who do what is right will praise him

Mountains Melt

The mountains melt like wax before the LORD, before the Lord of all the earth (Psalm 97:5)

Mountains represent problems that look permanent, immovable.

It might be a mountain of depression, insecurity, addiction, lack, or anxiety. It looks as though it could never change, but there’s no mountain God can’t melt!

It may not have happened yet, but this is a new day. God is doing a new thing.

God will not allow any obstacle to keep you from your destiny. What God put in your heart will still come to pass

The dreams He’s given you will still be completed

Now do your part and start declaring God’s favor and power

Start declaring His promises, speaking what He says about you: “I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me

There’s nothing too difficult for my God.” Start thanking God that it’s going to happen

As you keep God’s word in your heart, God promises that it will prevail—not the sickness, not the trouble, not the fear, wicked people

He will melt the obstacles that wants to defeat you! You will be victorious

Prayer:

Father, thank You that no matter how big the mountain of obstacles is that I have Your promises that You will melt every mountain! Thank You that what has held me back will not limit me anymore. I receive this by faith and look ahead to how You will turn it around in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth!

Not the Slightest Doubt

There has never been the slightest doubt in my mind that the God who started this great work in you would keep at it and bring it to a flourishing finish on the very day Christ Jesus appears (Philippians 1:6,)

No matter what some people do, it’s never enough. There’s always a nagging voice telling them they should have done better. They live with this inner critic constantly putting them down, pointing out their faults, magnifying their weaknesses and failings.

They also listen to critics and naysayers who tell them what they can’t do, limit their potential, and lessen their value. If that’s you, do yourself a favor and tune out both the inner and outer negative chatter

The truth is that God didn’t make you subpar, deficient, or less-than. He calls you a masterpiece. But none of us are finished products.

God is still working on us. Even though we have things we need to improve on, you shouldn’t feel unworthy and go around being down on yourself and trying to get people to approve you. God has already approved you. He’s already loved and accepted you. Why don’t you start believing that you’re worthy, that you’re valuable? Today can be a turning point.

Start declaring who God say's you are, keep being your best, and He’ll get you to where you’re supposed to be

Prayer

Father, thank You for the good work You’re doing in my life, and I am absolutely convinced that You will keep developing and bringing it to full completion. Help me to stop being against myself and to simply trust You with the process for further change. I declare that I am who You say I am. In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth!

In God I will praise his word, in God I have put my trust; I will not fear what flesh can do unto me. Psalm (56:4)

Praising God, magnifies God! If God is magnified, then trust in God increases! All others become lesser and insignificant!

The ruler of the Universe, the great I AM is no fool or slouch! He designed the world, and He knows what your purpose and calling is, in Jesus Christ!

The fear of man bringeth a snare: but whoso putteth his trust in the LORD shall be safe. (Proverbs 29:25)

Don't fear man, whom do not last for eternity! Fear God, whom is from everlasting to everlasting!

Prayer: Abba Father, lead Yours in grace, mercy, favour and love of more intimacy with your Holy Spirits prescence, Omnipotent God, thank you that the spirit of fear is not ours, but our enemies, as yours have sound minds, love and power because of your grace in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth!

Never far away!

By day the Lord commands his steadfast love, and at night his song is with me, a prayer to the God of my life (Psalm 42:8)

There are moments in all of our lives when we feel like something is missing. The Bible passage reminds us that God’s love is never far away!

At times it may seem like God is distant, that He is not looking out for you, but this is the furthest thing from the truth!

God’s love for you is eternal, never ceasing, never surrendering, always there! He loves you so much that it’s unfathomable

These times of discomfort and distance are known as spiritual dryness, there an opportunity to love God in return without feeling His strong presence

This dryness can be considered a gift, for if we are able to love God during these times, it is a profound example of our deep devotion and love for God!

So remember God is always with us, even when we feel, we are alone

Prayer

Father, I need to embrace Your steadfast love more often in my life. Today, I pray that You will show me Your love and help me spread the love of God in the Lord Jesus Christ's name! Amen

A Definite Plan

This Jesus, delivered up according to the definite plan and foreknowledge of God, you crucified and killed by the hands of lawless men (Acts 2:23)

There was nothing random or happenstance about the betrayal, arrest, trial, crucifixion, death, and resurrection of Jesus.

God had already prearranged it all as a part of fulfilling His plan to bring us salvation

It may have seemed out of control and frightening to His disciples, but God preplanned how He was going to turn that for their good and our good!

Do you ever think that a setback, a disappointment, or a betrayal has caught God off guard? No, He wouldn’t have allowed it if it was going to stop your purpose!

You just don’t see what He is doing behind the scenes. What He’s already planned in your future is bigger, better, more rewarding than you can imagine

When you understand this, you won’t live striving, straining, or worried. “How’s it going to work out?” You’ll live from a place of peace, a place of rest. You’re confident that your Creator has a “definite plan” for you!

Your job is to keep being faithful, keep living with excellence and integrity, and you’re going to walk into all that’s already been prepared for you

Prayer

Father, thank You that when things seem out of control in my life, You have preplanned how to turn it to my good. Help me to stand firm in my faith in the times when nothing seems to make sense. I declare that I’m going to keep being faithful, keep doing the right thing, and living from a place of peace. In the Lord Jesus Christ's name! Amen

The Power of the Anointing

So as David stood there among his brothers, Samuel took the flask of olive oil he had brought and anointed David with the oil. And the Spirit of the LORD came powerfully upon David from that day on (1 Samuel 16:13)

When David was seventeen years old, the prophet Samuel showed up at his house to choose one of the eight sons of Jesse to be the next king of Israel!

Jesse didn’t even call David in from the shepherds’ fields because he thought David was too young, too small, not talented enough

But when Samuel saw David, he said, “He’s the one.” He anointed David as the next king, and the scripture say's that the Spirit of God came powerfully upon David!

With that anointing, David was able to not get bitter about his father and brothers not believing in him. With that anointing, David went out and defeated Goliath and became a national hero

The anointing, on David was able to resist paying King Saul back for repeatedly trying to kill him!

That is what the Holy Spirit does. He brings fresh anointing that suddenly turns your health around, breaks addictions, and strengthens you to face any challenge

He brings fresh favor, fresh attitudes, fresh vision. Do your part and receive it by faith in the glorious name of our Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth!

Prayer:

Father, thank You for the power of the Holy Spirit in my life that is so much greater than all of my might and power. Thank You that You are always coming to not just meet my needs but to bring freshness and new life. I believe in the promise of Your Spirit to do it. In the Lord Jesus Christ's name! Amen

God our answer

I will answer them before they even call to me (Isaiah 65:24)

There are things you’re concerned about now, dreams you want to accomplish, situations you need to turn around

It’s easy to get discouraged and think God hasn’t heard you.

Can I encourage you that God has already taken care of it. He say's, “Before you call, I will answer you.” He is always going ahead of you

God knows what you’re going to need in the future. He has solutions before you have problems. That’s why you can live in peace. You don’t need to be worried about your children, stressed over your health, losing sleep over your finances

God in Heaven is ahead of you. He’s doing things right now that you can’t see. The hand of God is working, taking care about worries!

The answer has been released! Blessings are coming your way. Don’t let what you don’t see talk you out of what has already happened. It’s just a matter of time before you see things change in your favor!

Prayer;

Father, thank You that before I even ask You for my needs and desires, You’ve already lined them up and have blessings headed my way. Thank You for the people, the favor, and the promotions that You have ordained to come across my path. Check Your Shoes!

Yet the LORD say's, “During the forty years that I led you through the wilderness, your clothes did not wear out, nor did the sandals on your feet (Deuteronomy 29:5)

The Israelites were stuck in the wilderness for forty years! Because of their disobedience, they constantly complained that nothing good was happening and they hadn’t seen the miracle of the abundance of the Promised Land!

Yet their clothes and sandals never wore out. There were no grocery stores, yet they never missed a meal

They weren’t trained in warfare, yet they defeated armies. They didn’t realize that they were in the middle of a miracle!

God was sustaining them, protecting them, not letting there enemies defeat them

Perhaps you’ve been praying and believing, but your child hasn’t turned around, your business hasn’t taken off, you’re still taking the treatments

God hasn’t delivered you from it, but He is taking you through a desert season, sustaining you right now, holding back what should have defeated you

You thought you’d have your answer by now, but have you noticed that your shoes haven’t worn out, that there’s been provision, that there’s been protection?

There’s a miracle taking place, but you can’t always see it. Trust His timing, trust His ways. It’s on the way.

Prayer;

Father, thank You for the miracles You have put in my heart that haven’t happened yet. Thank You that I can keep trusting Your timing and Your ways and not be distracted by what I don’t see. I’m going to keep praising, keep thanking, and I know that what I’m believing for is on the way. In Jesus’ Name, Amen

God's word is for you!

For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through the endurance taught in the Scriptures and the encouragement they provide we might have hope (Romans 15:4)

When you read the Scriptures, do you take the encouragement that’s there to give you hope and strength for living?

If you listen, you’ll hear David saying, “That giant you’re facing looks big, but our God is bigger!

You can defeat your enemies in the name of the Lord Almighty.” Gideon is saying, “You don’t feel qualified. You’re intimidated and hiding

I’ve been there. God say's you have what it takes. You’re a mighty hero

Joseph will tell you, “My brothers sold me into slavery. I was falsely imprisoned and suffered for thirteen years before I stepped into my destiny!

God is working all things for your good. Trust Him when you don’t understand.” Lazarus will tell you, “I was dead and wrapped in grave clothes

Jesus can bring back to life a dead dream, a dead marriage, what looks dead in your health, your finances, your mind. A resurrection is coming!

Start listening to the heroes of faith. Get to know God as they did.

They’ve walked where we’re walking, and they’re still teaching us. Draw out the encouragement, strength, and hope the scriptures impart

Prayer;

Father, thank You that You invited me into a relationship with You just as You did the heroes of faith. Thank You for the privilege of spending time with God and reading the word. Speak to my heart, teach me Your way, show me the path for my life, and encourage me with hope in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth! Amen

Just have patience

Slowly, steadily, surely, the time approaches when the vision will be fulfilled. If it seems slow, do not despair, for these things will surely come to pass. Just be patient! They will not be overdue a single day (Habakkuk 2:3)

Prophet Habakkuk wrote that we are to write down our vision, the dreams and promises God puts in our hearts

Are you missing blessings, favor, healing, and breakthroughs because your pen is not ready?

You’re thinking, “Maybe it will happen.” No, write it down. Get in agreement with God. You don’t have to figure out how He is going to do it.

God didn’t ask you to write the how. He just said, “Write what I’ve spoken to you.” As you keep that vision in front of you and keep thanking Him that it’s on the way, the scripture goes on to say that though the vision is fulfilled slowly, wait on it

You’re going to come into an appointed time, and it will not be late

You’re going to see God bring dreams to pass, turn the medical situation around, get your child back on course, catapult you to a new level. Wait in faith, wait with expectancy, knowing that God is working!

You are closer than you think. You’re on the verge of God's favour!

Prayer:

Father, thank You for the vision that You have put in my heart, the dreams and promises. Thank You that You are ordering my steps and have an appointed season for the fulfillment of my vision. I believe that my set time is established, and I am waiting for it with expectancy. In the name of Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth! Amen

Saying Thank You

I do not cease to give thanks for you as I remember you in my prayers (Ephesians 1:16)

When I was young, my parents emphasized the importance of expressing gratitude to others. Now that I’m a parent, I teach my children the same way because I know first hand how powerful it is

No matter how big or small the deed may be, the gesture of appreciation must not be neglected or forgotten

If humbly saying, "sorry" can diffuse the flames of anger and de-escalate a situation, similarly saying, “thank you” can light the fire inside a person’s heart and encourage them to help others without reservation

These two small words, though they may sound insignificant, can go a long way!

No man is an island. So instead of wallowing in selfishness, discontent or unhappiness, give thanks unto the Lord!

He has surrounded us with people willing to help, the least we can do is say thank you!

Prayer

Heavenly Father, give us a grateful heart. Help us not to overlook the good deeds of others but to appreciate and thank them. In Jesus’ Name we pray. Amen.

KEEP YOUR MIND ON GOD'S WORD

Jesus said, "Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away (Matthew 24:35)

Sometimes, there are those who are working for the Lord, giving their time, expending energy or resources, and they think it's not yielding any result in their lives

They look at their lives and they are not making substantial or visible progress! Never allow such thoughts arise in your heart

The results of your labour of love in the Gospel may not be immediately obvious to you, but others are surely being impacted by it!

Think about it: many prophets of old, for example, didn’t see the result of their own prophecies!

But we are today enjoying some of the prophecies they gave!

In their day, there must have been those who thought their prophecies were false, because some of the prophets lived and died, their prophecies were not fulfilled in their day!

But the truth is that some of those prophets were not speaking about their days!

The Prophet Joel said, “And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: And your sons and your daughters shall prophesy (Acts 2:17)

Those that were alive in his day didn’t know what the last days were!

They may have considered Joel’s prophecy as not true! But at the appointed time, that prophecy was fulfilled!

The Bible (Acts 2:1-4) that the apostles were all sitting in one place, in one accord; then suddenly, there was a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind and it filled all the house where they were sitting and cloven tongues like fire sat on each of them and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost!

It took many years for the prophecy to come to pass, the Spirit alerted Peter, who confirmed it, saying, “But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel (Acts 2:16)." Hallelujah!

Never think that your service in the Lord and in the Gospel is worthless, just because Jesus word to you hasn’t come to pass!

Don’t be distracted; the results are there! Even the ones you are yet to see will still happen!

It doesn’t matter what anybody say's or what circumstances show; remain focused and fervent, serving the Lord! Keep your gaze on Him! His Word is true and never fails!

Prayer: Dear Lord, kind, merciful and love filled Father in Heaven, yours appreciate and value the promises that are in the Bible and that are ours, through and in the precious Holy Spirit as He leads His Beloved People in the truth of the word daily and guides so that our lives are more spiritually productive and fruitful in our days in the lovefilled name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth! Amen

OUR LIVES AFTER THE CROSS

For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God (1 Corinthians 1;18)

The scripture says, "The son started his speech: ‘Father, I have sinned against God, I have sinned before you; I don’t deserve to be called your son ever again!’

But the father wasn’t listening (Luke 15:21–22) Perhaps you know the story of the prodigal son! When he returned home after wasting his father’s inheritance on wild living and partying, he passionately started pouring out his genuine remorse, but his father wasn’t listening!

He was calling his staff to kill the fatted calf for a party and declaring, “My son was lost but now he is found!”

Are you doing what this son did, speaking to the Father of everything you have done wrong, how unworthy you are of His love? Can I tell you that God is not interested in that talk!

The moment you asked God to forgive you, He forgave you and then He forgot your sins!

You are not worthy because of what you did or didn’t do! You are worthy only because of what Jesus Christ did for you on the cross! That precious cross of calvary!

but the angel said, “Don’t be alarmed. You are looking for Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He isn’t here! He is risen from the dead! Look, this is where they laid his body (Mark 16:6)

Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need (Hebrews 4;16)

If you keep asking Him to forgive you and keep telling Him that you are unworthy, He tunes all that out

If you want God to listen, start speaking His language, the word, psalms, songs, prayers in tongues, worship the language of faith!

Prayer: “Father, thank You that Your mercy is bigger than my mistakes! Thank You that You are not holding my past against me! Thank You that I am forgiven! That I am redeemed because of what Jesus Christ did on the cross! I am coming boldly to Your throne right now, asking petitions prayers and supplications not only for myself, but for others as well, so that God's Kingdom in the earth, can be enlarged in Jesus Christ of Nazareth's mighty name!
